Folk Music Harvest Party brings unique performers to autumn and distributes the Etnokulp awards

The traditional Folk Music Harvest Party will take place from October 4 to 5, bringing fresh sounds and contrasting new productions to the season of falling leaves.
For the first time, singers Alika Milova and Arno Tamm will perform together at the Traditional Music Center, with a repertoire composed of songs connected to the heritage of their ancestors. Folk music enthusiasts can enjoy modern soundscapes from artists such as Kass/Talsi/Sink, Alterne (BE/DK/EE) and Hypnosis Negative (CA/EE), while traditional music fans will be treated by the "Sounds and stories from Ruhnu island", as well as the energetic performance by the youthful yet seasoned band Zetod.

Folk Music Harvest Party is a two-day mid-autumn mini festival that brings together the most brilliant folk music artists, unique special projects and fresh and exciting new arrivals. Folk Music Harvest Party has become an annual meeting point for folk musicians because in addition to fantastic concerts, late night jam sessions and dances, it is also the moment to look back at the past year and give out the “Etnokulp” awards to the folk musicians, albums and songs that have won the audiences’ hearts. The public voting for Etnokulp 2024 will begin on September 9 and continue until September 23.

As part of this year's Tartu 2024 program, the Viljandi Heritage Festival will bring a wealth of horizon-expanding culture and delightful musical experiences at the beginning of October through the Folk Music Harvest Party.
