Campsite

Sleeping in a tent at the campsite is an essential part of every young festivalgoer’s Viljandi Folk experience. This is the place for the fans of the real festival buzz. No need to worry about not getting enough sleep – the curfew starts at 11 p.m. and is ensured by the campsite staff and security services.

The festival campsite is located near the festival area, Kiriku st 5, and is accessible only with a campsite ticket. Order at the campsite is maintained around the clock. Silent hours start at 11 p.m. It is forbidden to drink alcohol and use drugs at the campsite. Animals are not allowed at the campsite. In front of the campsite, there is a car park designated for campers, where parking is allowed only with a festival parking permit, which can be requested from the campsite reception, subject to availability. A campsite pass does not guarantee a parking spot. In the mornings, the church café is open.

Washing facilities are available 300 m away at Viljandi Sports Centre (€2 for a shower, €6 for a sauna).

The Campsite opens on Thursday, July 24 at 12:00 and closes on Monday, July 28 at 10:00.

  • CAMPSITE PASS

35 € - campsite pass is for one person for the entire festival (4 nights). The price will go up to 45 € during the festival. 

  • CAMPSITE DAY TICKET THURSDAY / SUNDAY

€12 - Campsite day tickets in pre-sale (until July 23, 2025, inclusive) for one person for one night

€14 - Campsite day tickets on-site during the festival (July 24–27, 2025) for one person for one night.

€13 - Campsite day tickets in pre-sale (until July 23, 2025, inclusive) for one person for one night

€15 - Campsite day tickets on-site during the festival (July 24–27, 2025) for one person for one night.

  • COMFORT CAMPING PASS

160 € - Travel light! Come to the Viljandi Folk Music Festival and enjoy a tent that is already set up for you! The Comfort Camping package includes a pre-erected two-person tent (Length: 205 cm; Width: 150 cm; Height: 105 cm), mattress, pillows and sleeping bags (The equipment remains the property of the festival). The comfort camping package includes one pre-pitched two-person tent, an air mattress, two sleeping bags, and two pillows. The pass provides a stay for two people for four nights.

A transaction fee will be added to the prices.
PS! Children up to the age of 12 years old (inclusive) camp for free. Access to the area with an adult escort.

Advance sales of Comfort Camping passes are available online until June 19th, 2025 (inclusive) or as long as supplies are available. Book now as availability is limited!

WASHING FACILITIES

Of course our guests can purify themselves in the lake of Viljandi but washing facilities are also available at the Viljandi Sports Centre (Vaksali 4, across the street of the main entrance of the festival area).

  • The shower is available on all festival days from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. (entry fee €2).
  • Sauna access on all festival days from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. (entry fee €6)
